Red boats to Red Bird Reef  Three retired tugboats became the newest habitat for Delaware's renowned Redbird Reef when they were sunk 16 miles offshore. Earlier: Reef-olution (revolution) and Reef-elation (revelation): Delaware's artificial reef program attracts aquatic life and international attention with its groundbreaking, habitat-making success using old subway cars to establish "luxury condominiums for fish."

Delaware's 2009 State Duck and Trout Stamp Contest winners chosen

Milford artist Richard Clifton – who painted the 2007-'08 Federal Duck Stamp – has again won the Delaware Duck Stamp Contest, for the fifth time with black ducks as his motif.

A painting of a rainbow trout by wildlife artist Jeffrey Klinefelter of Etna Green, Ind., was the winning entry in this year's competition to become Delaware's 2009 Trout Stamp.

Wildlife

Fisheries
Info for anglers – licenses, access areas, guides, maps and more. Conservation and education – Aquatic Resources Education Center, Fishing Report, Trout Stamp Program, Fish Consumption advisories and more.

Enforcement
