The Delaware Trout Stamp Contest was held April 12 at Owens Station in Greenwood, Del., in conjunction with the state duck stamp competition. The contest drew 22 entries and was won by artist Jeffrey Klinefelter of Etna Green, Ind. with a painting of a rainbow trout. Mr. Klinefelter received $250 and retains the rights to reproduce and sell prints of the stamp.

Artist Paul Fenwick of Hillsborough, N.J. took second place in the trout stamp contest with his painting of a brook trout.

A rendering of a brown trout taking a fly on the rise also earned an honorable mention for Peter Strzelewicz of Dudley, Mass.
