Delaware's 2009 State Duck and Trout Stamp Contest winners chosen

A painting of a rainbow trout by wildlife artist Jeffrey Klinefelter of Etna Green, Ind., was the winning entry in this year's competition to become Delaware's 2009 Trout Stamp.

Reef-olution (revolution) and Reef-elation (revelation): Delaware's artificial reef program attracts aquatic life and international attention with its groundbreaking, habitat-making success using old subway cars to establish "luxury condominiums for fish."

Trout and about: Trout were stocked in six upstate streams in time for Delaware's first-Saturday-in-April traditional trout season opening dayEach stream received a heavy stocking that included approximately 500 trophy-size trout, in addition to the 10- to 12-inch fish that comprise the bulk of the stockings.
