Spring shorebird migration is just around the corner. Be prepared to enjoy the shorebird migration phenomenon in Delaware Bay by becoming acquainted with the various species of shorebirds that stop here. Kevin Kalasz, shorebird biologist for the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife and Coordinator of the Delaware Shorebird Project, will lead a lecture that touches on the array of shorebirds you will most likely see from the bayside view of the DuPont Nature Center. This informative presentation is for beginners as well as those who are more experienced with shorebird identification.
